Black Diamonds Records brings the Austrian/Japanese producer Ken Hayakawa to the label with his groove-oriented Melodic House Digital Illusion EP. Ken Hayakawa digs deep during this time of corona and delivers these outstanding multi-dimensional tracks with atmospheric synth lines, groovy beats, innovative sound design, and a lovely aesthetic touch. Look forward to hear more Ken Hayakawa releases coming in 2021 on Black Diamonds Records.

The title track, Digital Illusion, is a statement on the illusions of reality woven by the media in the digital age. This is a serious and timeless track that finds a deep groove and carries the listener on a chimerical journey.

The b-side of this EP is the anthemic Mice on Mars which makes great use of the Korg MS-20 to create a whimsical, synth-heavy track with a solid groove.

Notably, Ken Hayakawa also appeared on the recent compilation from Schönbrunner Perlen, along with the likes of DJ Hell, youANDme, Petar Dundov, and Marco Resmann.
